Who we are
TELT strives to strengthen English language systems across the world — working alongside governments, ministries, and institutions to build lasting change.
Leadership
Decades of combined experience across English language education, from policy formation to classroom delivery.
Founded in 2017 to bridge the gap between education policy and classroom practice. What began as a shared commitment between its founding directors has become a consultancy trusted by ministries, donors, and institutional partners worldwide.
To strengthen education systems from the inside — building the institutional capacity, professional culture, and operational infrastructure that enables high-quality teaching to be sustained at scale, without dependency on external support.
To strengthen English language education at system level — supporting educators and decision-makers to build teaching practices that are effective, inclusive, and grounded in local context.
Every engagement starts with listening. Sustainable change comes from collaboration, contextual understanding, and a commitment to professional excellence. We build partnerships, not dependencies.
TELT embeds within existing institutional structures rather than working alongside them. Every programme is co-designed with local stakeholders, delivered through national systems, and evaluated against outcomes that the institution itself defines. The goal is always local ownership.
Advisory BOARD
TELT’s Advisory Board brings together senior leaders whose work has defined how the sector thinks about its hardest problems.
Advisory BOARD
The advisory board has been part of TELT since its founding. It brings perspectives that deepen the organisation’s expertise, keep it responsive to shifts across the global education landscape, and ensure its strategic direction is tested by voices beyond its own.
Drawing on expertise across education systems and policy environments to ensure our thinking isn’t limited by our own internal view.
External critique of programme quality and institutional decisions that keeps the organisation rigorous as it scales.
Preserving the pedagogical principles and long-term relationships that have defined the organisation since its founding.
Evaluating how our operating model needs to evolve to stay responsive to an increasingly complex global education landscape.
Delivery Network
Every consultant in our network is a practitioner first, selected for what they know and how they work, and integrated into the way we operate.
